The Peacekeeping
Powerhouse
You feel a lot.
You just don't need to make everything a fight.
You can be both emotional and steady.
You notice what people are feeling, you're willing to show up for the people you love, and people apparently count on you to keep your footing when they're losing theirs.
That's a powerful combination. You don't have to be detached to be the calm one.
Why your fights can go sideways
This is probably one of the most interesting parts of your InnerArc.
You pick up on emotional shifts quickly, and not feeling understood hits you hard. But when someone you're attached to starts pulling away?
You pull away too.
Not necessarily because you don't care. When closeness starts feeling uncertain, protecting yourself can become more important than chasing the other person down.
You open up most when the relationship feels accepting rather than demanding.
There's something important in your answers about wanting someone who can let you have your feelings without judging you for them. Feeling like you can be messy, overwhelmed, disappointed or emotional without becoming a problem to solve creates room for you to soften.
Because actions register strongly for you, affection isn't only about saying the right thing. Showing up matters.
You don't necessarily need someone to immediately fix your feelings.
You want room to actually have them without being judged for them. Being with someone who acknowledges what's happening rather than acting like everything is fine may matter more to you than a perfectly worded response.
Sometimes understanding you looks less like "Here's what you should do" and more like "I see where you are. I'm still here."
Stay just a little more visible when your instinct is to protect yourself.
You don't need to chase someone who's pulling away. You don't need to turn every feeling into a huge conversation. But instead of matching distance with distance, give your person one clue:
"I'm hurt and I need a minute."
"I'm pulling back right now, but I don't want us disconnected."
"I don't need you to fix this. I need you to understand why it got to me."
That small difference could help you get more of what you actually want: understanding without having to fight so hard for it.
